Economic Regions of the Azerbaijan Republic.
Considering the economical-geographical location, natural resources and minerals, density of population, administrative-territorial division, specifics of historical development Azerbaijan Republic is divided into 10 economical regions.
Absheron Economic Region
(Absheron and Khizy regions, city of Baku and Sumgait).

Ganja Gazakh Economic Region
(Agstafa, Dashkesen, Gadabay, Goranboy, Khanlar, Gazakh, Samukh, Shamkir, Tovuz regions, city of Ganja and Naftalan).

Sheky – Zagatala Economic Region
(Balaken, Gàkh, Gabala, Oguz, Zagatala, Sheky regions).

Lankaran Economic Region
(Astara, Jalilabad, Lerik, Masally, Yardimly, Lankaran regions)

Guba – Khachmaz Economic Region
(Davachy, Khachmaz, Guba, Gusar, Siyazan regions).

Aran (Lowland) Economic Region
(Agjabady, Agdash, Beylagan, Barda, Bilasuvar, Goychay, Hagigabul, Imishly, Kurdamir, Neftchala, Saatly, Sabirabad, Salyan, Ujar, Zardab regions, cities of Ali-Bayramly, Mingachevir, Yevlakh).

Upper Karabagh Economic Region
(Agdam, Tartar, Khojavand, Shusha, Jabrayil, Fuzuli regios, city of Khankendi).

Kalbajar – Lachin Economic Region
(Kalbajar, Lachin, Zangilan, Gubadli regions).

Highland Shirvan Economic Region
(Agsu, Ismailli, Gobustan, Shamakhy regions).

Nakchyvan Economic Region
(Nakchivan city, Babek, Julfa, Ordubad, Sadarak, Shahbuz, Sharur regions).
